107: Finishing is Good Enough
12/5/2015
I just finished the first draft of Chapter 43: Counsel. It turned out longish – 12 pages, but I think it’s good. I’m content.
Present-Day Reflection
9/9/2026
I just finished the cover design for the paperback version of my first novel: Wings of Providence. The interior text turned out to be longish – 581 pages, but I think it’s good.
Due to it’s length and the cuts for wholesalers and Print-On-Demand costs through IngramSpark, I’ll be receiving just under a dollar for every book sold at $24.99. I’m content though, looking upon this first launch of a print version as being mostly about marketing – getting me out into the physical world. The majority of my revenues will come from eBook sales.
I’m just glad the print version distraction is over, more or less, so I can now focus on reaching out to my audience and letting them know my work exists. I’m a week behind schedule, but I’m content.
